Hi, I'm Britt!

Ever since I was a young girl (with my nose stuck firmly in the pages of a book) I've loved getting lost in the world of storytelling. 

When journalism and creative writing piqued my interest in high school, I made the choice to attend university in Canada where I received my bachelor’s in English & Psychology. 

I then traveled to Australia, where I earned my master’s in Education and became a grade-school teacher.  

After several wonderful years spent teaching little ones to read and write, I pivoted toward a career in editing.  

You can now find me living on a tiny island in the Maldives with my husband, working as a freelance book editor. 

My goal is to help authors polish their manuscripts by outlining improvements and identifying errors with a fine-tooth comb. 

My experience as an avid reader & love of the English language enable me to confidently offer unique, relevant, and honest insight to story development across all areas of fiction writing.

As any author who's released a book into the world can attest, writing is an art form, but publishing is a business!
