Copyediting is key to making sure your writing follows language rules and book style so there is consistency.

-wordiness
-repetition/duplication
Light content edits (comments & suggestions) are included.

Proofreading (final step)

Proofreading comes after your book has gone through professional edits.
Checks include:
-errors in punctuation, grammar, and spelling
-subject-verb agreement
-doubled or omitted words
-formatting errors (spacing and hyphens, capitalization, homophones)
Editor will flag minor plot holes, readability and timeline issues, POV changes, and factual errors, but they are not the main focus of a proofread.

In-line revisions are not made; however, notes, comments, and detailed observations are included with this service.
Published Manuscripts

Designed for authors who wish to revisit published novels and receive combined editing and proofreading services.
Checks will be structurally focused on:
-tense consistency
-spelling
-grammar
-punctuation
-general formatting discrepancies.
